2026 First Half In Review
We're halfway through 2026, and we want to take a moment to share what Emich Cares has been up to—showing up for our community and for one another. Thanks to your participation and generosity, the first six months of the year made a real difference close to home.
For those who are not familiar, Emich Cares is the charitable arm of the Emich Automotive Group, guided by a board of employees from each store who work to support both the Emich staff and the Denver and Boulder communities.
2026 First Half Highlights
Where Our Giving Went
🎀 Hiwan Pink Ribbon Classic
We kicked off the year supporting the Hiwan Pink Ribbon Classic, a community golf tournament raising funds for breast cancer research.
⛷️ Ignite Adaptive Sports
Ignite Adaptive Sports brings skiing and snowboarding to athletes with disabilities at Eldora Mountain Resort, serving more than 300 athletes each year, from age six to over ninety.
🍲 Philo's Kitchen
Philo's Kitchen rescues perishable food that would otherwise go to waste and turns it into nutritious meals for families, veterans, and neighbors facing food insecurity.
🍎 Steele Elementary PTA
Our gift to the Steele Elementary PTA helps fund staffing and school events for students at Steele Elementary in Denver.
💛 Denver Children's Foundation
Denver Children's Foundation brings young professionals together to raise funds for at-risk and disadvantaged children across Colorado.

Supporting Our Team
At the heart of Emich Cares is a commitment to our people. Through the first half of 2026, we continued supporting teammates through unexpected and difficult life events—helping create a more resilient, compassionate place to work.
Community Donations
From January through June, Emich Cares gave a total of $15,000 to local non-profits: Hiwan Pink Ribbon Classic, Ignite Adaptive Sports, Philo's Kitchen, Steele Elementary PTA, and Denver Children's Foundation.
Second Half Sneak Peek
⛳ Emich Cares Charity Golf Tournament
In September, teammates, partners, and sponsors came together for our annual golf tournament and raised more than $29,000 for Project I See You, which provides housing grants to women purchasing their first home.
